The Fresno Chapter of the Association of Mexican American Educators (AMAE) is going to hold its 23rd Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament at Madera Municipal Golf Course on Saturday, April 27, 20l9.
As a result of generous sponsors like you, last year’s tournament was a great success and raised over $30,000. Thirty-$1,000 college scholarships were awarded in 2018. Many of the scholarship recipients were the first in their family to enter college to pursue professional careers. Unfortunately due to the limited amount of scholarships, there were other qualified candidates that were not awarded scholarships. Your support can help more students pursue a college education.
AMAE also is involved in our local community through our annual “Celebrating Hispanic Heritage” poster design contest which involves students in grades 7-12 in Fresno Unified School District. AMAE also advocates for better educational opportunities for students.
We are requesting your continued support to make this a successful fundraising event by helping in one of the following ways:
Scholarship Golf Tournament held on April 1st.
All sponsors’ names will be printed on the Scholarship Golf Tournament program and on the Scholarship Awards Dinner program held in May 2019.
The Fresno AMAE Chapter wishes to express our gratitude for your support.
We look forward to partnering with you to support students in their college endeavors.
